Brown aluminum oxide sand has good crystallization, well toughness, low linear expansion coefficient, corrosion resistance.
It consists almost entirely of aluminum oxide and is almost iron-free. Brown fused alumina sand is less pure than white fused alumina. The special composition of this angular mineral makes it extremely stable. It is also both hard and tough. Brown fused alumina is primarily used to spray polish and roughen the surface of metal hardware products. It belongs to the group of fused alumina.

Brown aluminum oxide sand is produced by the Brown Fused Alumina Lumps which originally smelted by Calcined Bauxite in an electric arc furnace at temperatures greater than 2000C.

What is a silane coating used for?
