Big bags FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) represent a very cost effective and ideal packaging solution for the transport and storage of dry bulk materials. They are normally made from flat woven polypropylene fabric (PP) or from circular (tubular) woven polypropylene fabrics in tubular form which may be in coated or non-coated form. Depending on the requirements for the safe working load (SWL) and the safety factor (SF) the weight of required fabrics in the construction of the bag will vary. 4 Loops Circular Bag is very easy to use.
One type of Big Bag that has gained popularity in recent years is the "U-Panel" design. This type of Big Bag is constructed with three main body components - one that runs the full length of the bag forming the bottom and two sides (the "U") and two additional pieces of fabric sewn between the U on two sides (the "Panel"). The main body is typically made from a seamless tubular fabric that forms all sides of the bag allowing for stitching only for the top and base of the bag. The Base is typically made from a seamless tubular fabric, and it is added to the Body tube to create the complete tubular/circular Big Bag.

However, in general, heavier materials require a larger capacity Big Bag with a higher SWL and a larger safety factor.
